Larsyn Brown

(founder + CEO)

Hi, I’m Larsyn Brown, founder of Honest Stories Co.

I have always been a deep thinker, drawn to beauty, and the small details most people move past too quickly. I did not set out to find a career in design. In many ways, it found me at the same crossroads most artists eventually reach. The choice between following a path built by someone else or having the courage to create my own.

Honest Stories was born from a very real place. I grew tired of being boxed in by corporate rules that left little room for depth or individuality. So I began using branding not just as a service, but as a way to curate the kind of work and clients I truly wanted to pour myself into. Because at my core, I am an artist, and artists care deeply about what they create.

Over time, I realized something simple but profound. Who I am naturally is exactly what branding needs. Someone who listens closely, sits with a story, and understands what matters beneath the surface. From there, I translate that story into a visual identity that feels lived in, clear, and true.

With over a decade of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Belmont University, I bring both an intuitive eye and a thoughtful, grounded process to every project. When I’m not designing, I’m at home outside of Nashville with my husband and two young boys, chasing slow moments, good coffee, and whatever inspiration finds its way in next.

Honest Stories is not just the name of my studio. It is the foundation of how I work and how I see the world.
